Ishiaka Adamu is currently the Finance and Administrative Officer 1 at the Center for International Law and Policy in Africa (CILPA), where he reviews and supervises financial management, budgeting, project financial planning, procurement, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, tax filings, and administrative operations. He previously served in finance and accounting roles at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sierra Leone, Leone Rock Metal Group Limited in Sierra Leone, PT Herbivor Satu Nusa Company in Indonesia, and the International Institute of Humanitarian and Environmental Law (ISHERL) in Nigeria.
He has also worked as a Data Collector for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Accounting from Njala University in Sierra Leone; a Master’s degree (Hons.) in Accounting from Airlangga University in Indonesia; and a Master’s degree (Hons.) in Economics from Indonesian International Islamic University (UIII) in Indonesia. He also holds an FAO certificate in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His expertise includes financial management, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, taxation, research, data analysis, and administration. He has published several peer-reviewed journal articles.
