Context
About the project
The Establishment of a Center for International Law and Policy in Africa Project supported the creation and institutional development of CILPA. Through general support from the Open Society Foundations, the project helped establish CILPA as a platform for advancing African perspectives in international and regional law.
The project contributed to the Centre’s foundational work, including institutional setup, early programme development, research planning and the creation of a framework for legal scholarship, policy engagement and capacity building.
